I have updated my presentation now and I have had to result to my gameplay demo being a movie to play during my presentation.
Its not what I wanted but it is still something I am proud of and feel it is a powerful addition to my presentation.
Time to rehearse!

DEMO
I have been working hard on a game for use as my communication strategy.
It is really taking shape now as a playable demonstration.
I do not need to do anything great but that said, I am really pleased with the overall visual style of each level so far...
It is slightly buggy however which is leading me to believe I might have to render a video as backup.

Interactive Document...
I have created a simple yet effective interactive document to cover all aspects of Weather Report Bort. The first thing I did was create a table of contents to help get a basic skeletal structure of the document to plan around.
I then moved on to adding images to the document. The images brought the document to life and gave me more to build upon in the latter stages of the document designs.
Flow charts were also implemented into the document in an attempt to fully divulge the inner workings of the games User Interface.
The next stage of the process was to add more depth to the descriptive text featured within the documentation. I made a note not to over complicate the process, keeping written text to a minimum. This helped to express the games simplicity and use strong image based work as the documentation descriptive foundation.
I now have to create a 15 minute presentation for Wednesday to explain my thoughts and work processes to my tutor and class.

Documentation Update...
I'm doing this post a bit later than I earlier anticipated as I have had an extremely busy week with my other modules. I have met the task deliverables set out to me by both myself and Ben and I am pleased with this. Next week should be more of a drastic change but none the less the work it up to date.

LEVEL DESIGNS!!!
I have been busy generating a whole load of level designs for the level design document. I think it has gone quite well and I am looking forward to getting some feedback. I will put each of the first level designs on this post along with a follow up post outlining the level docs progress... (I have also completed the level One stages...)

Menu, Menu, Menu...
I have created a menu screen for my game, it is simple and follows the style taken so far with the project.
Bort's Space Craft...
I have made a 3D model of Bort's space craft to implement within the document and also for use in the pitch of the product at the end of the module.
Part one will be received upon completing Level 1:
Part 3 will be received upon completing Level 3:

Level Doc
I have done the mechanical document to a certain degree so I have now moved on to the level design document to ensure I at least have something done as a backup.
I have implemented a key and stage descriptions and I must now make some images to accompany the text.

Mechanics mechanics mechanics!
Luckily I have been able to recycle images from my concept stages for use in my new document. I have re-written all information however to expand in more detail and put across a distinct idea of what my game is about.
Update!
I have implimented more detail into my mechanical documentation to further my project.
I have also added certain images to help depict my game in a more full manner.
Below are images of my latest progress:
I have added these images in an attempt to add depth to the narrative in particular. It is now time to add some detail to the game mechanics themselves...

Mechanics Document Structure
I have made a start with the games mechanics document by simply blocking out the general structure. The next stage of the process will be to begin bulking out the information and adding images.

Off we go again...
I have to create three documents centering around the design of my chosen game from earlier in the DD3000 module.
Firstly I have had to upload a diary plan to help with organizing the workload.
